Our location
Darcy’s Cottages are set in the village of Holtby, a charming little village on the outskirts of York. With the city centre only 10 minutes away, you have the best of both worlds; the delightful small country village atmosphere of old Yorkshire twinned with the vibrant city of York. The park and ride is only 5 minutes away with regular buses into York. There is also a bus stop at the edge of the village, with buses every 30 minutes during peak times. Taxis from the centre of York are in the region of £15.
There is parking on site for up to 4 cars, more on request and parking in the village is not restricted.

Normal T&Cs
Cancellations up to 7 weeks before the stay will be refunded minus 25%.
Cancellations within the 7 weeks before the stay will be refunded minus 25% if the period is re-sold.
However, please be assured that should the Government put York into lockdown again my Covid Cancellation Policy will apply to all bookings regardless. Keep safe and we hope to see you in 2022.

Initial payment of 25%, payable when you book.
Remainder payments will not be requested until 2 weeks before the holiday is due to be taken.
Covid Cancellation
Free cancellation and refund, minus a £15 administration fee or movement of dates to an alternative week. There may be an additional cost, or reduction depending on the price of that stay. No admin charge for this.
Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome and we have hosted a variety of pets. We do not charge for your pet but please let us know if you are bringing a pet. Please note that there is livestock on the property and roaming birds.
